#SxChiGirls wants your classroom memories on video!

#SxChiGirls are raising money for a local Chicago classroom, via “Adopt-a-Classroom“, as part of the ChevySXSW challenge.  The fundraising challenge is the first of many that #SxChiGirls will complete as part of their Chevy-inspired road trip to SXSW in Austin, TX!

The goal is to raise $200, but we are expecting to raise a lot more than that for a local classroom in need.  In addition to accepting donations online and offline, #SxChiGirls are encouraging Chicagoans to share their fondest “school days” memories in a series of videos, to be created in downtown Chicago, Thursday afternoon.  That’s where YOU come in!

Please join us in front of the Tribune Towers at 435 North Michigan Ave. on Thursday, February 24th at noon.  Come prepared with your favorite stories of being in school.  Maybe you had a rockin’ 3rd grade teacher… Maybe a field trip encouraged your career…  Maybe there was a teacher who let you sleep in class after the big game…  Whatever!  The point is to raise money and awareness in a fun, creative and light-hearted way!

We can’t wait to hear your stories!  Tweet us with hashtag #SxChiGirls or directly at @JessicaRMurray, @NicoleYeary, @JenChicago and @SJOgborn.

#SxChiGirls consists of the following team members: Jessica Murray, Nicole Yeary, Samantha Ogborn and Jen Knoedl.
