1. I dedicate “Don’t Rain On My Parade” to @PegCorwin. Peg is my business coach from SCORE (an amazing and free resource for small business owners and entrepreneurs) and she selflessly donates her time and wisdom to inquiring business newbies like, um… me. Meeting with her monthly keeps me sane and I’m so grateful for her time. I should thank @TheLocalTourist for the intro to Peg. #girlpower
2. @JodyRobbins has been especially cool to me this past week and I’ll take this opportunity to publicly thank him. He’s been super generous with his business knowledge and maybe the older brother I never had. Thanks Dude. I picked this song ’cause you kinda remind me of Tom Petty. Maybe it’s the hair. Maybe it’s cause y’all are both cool.
3. Dedicated to @MafiaHairdreser at @MyChicagoSalon because when he gives me a haircut… I feel pretty. He’s also a great story-teller. Not only as he cuts my hair but as an author, as well.
